Angel Kane & Becky Andrews, co-founders of Wilson Living Magazine, have been friends since their children were young. At the time they met, dropping off their children at Pixie School, both were young, working mothers who had a lot in common: they liked to write, loved to laugh and enjoyed every minute of their day to day lives in Wilson County. One thing led to another and before you know it Telling Tales, their weekly humor column in the Wilson Post and Carthage Courier was born, followed shortly thereafter with a lifestyle magazine, Wilson Living Magazine. Since 2008, these busy ladies have grown their respective careers and families. Angel and her husband Judge Brody Kane are the parents of three children and she is a partner in the law firm of McBrien, Kane & Crowell. Becky is a journalist with the Wilson Post, as well as ghost writer for several books, and has authored many national articles on motherhood and women’s issues. She and her husband Jay have two boys. Wilson Living Magazine has grown from a hobby into a full-fledged media company that now distributes magazines in Wilson, Smith, Trousdale, Macon and Sumner Counties and is read by over 75,000 avid readers. Additionally, the company now handles marketing for other businesses and also produces the Wilson Living Holiday Expo, an annual holiday shopping extravaganza that brings thousands of people to Wilson County every year. The company has also grown from two moms in a parking lot to a see url staff of over 20 writers, editors, and graphic artists. But at its core, the magazine still embodies the things that brought Angel and Becky together: good writing and inspiring articles about their neighbors, whom both love to meet as they go about their day to day lives in this wonderful community we all call home. To reach Angel or Becky, email them at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org. They love to hear from their readers and friends in the community and are always open to ideas about articles and events the magazine should sponsor or highlight. So give them a shout out anytime!
