Dry scalp is the immediate problem associated with excessive drying of skin. The dryness is caused by the stripping of natural oils from our body such as harsh shampoos, hard water, as well as excessive shampooing.

During the winter months, we notice the dry skin flakes more, due to dry weather and the heat in your home that draws the oil from your body. Just as you would moisturize your body’s dry skin, you need to moisturize your scalp. The best remedy to treat dry scalp would be to use Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner. The natural oils and moisturizers act on the scalp, restore the oil content, and reverse the damage. Paul Mitchell is safe for color treated hair. Paul Mitchell also offers a Tea Tree Lemon Sage and a Lavender Mint. Lemon Sage is good for volume and Lavender Mint is good for additional moisture.
